AVRBC President's Welcome

Welcome to the Western Association of Director’s of Volunteers (WADV) website. If you are responsible for managing volunteers in British Columbia or the Yukon, our association can help you network with other managers, improve your skills, and provide resources and information about the field of volunteer management. For over 30 years, WADV has been dedicated to promoting leadership in the management of volunteer services and to providing a supportive network for its members through our conferences, regional meetings and newsletters. Membership in WADV is by application for individuals currently employed as managers or enrolled in a course of study on volunteer management. Working with volunteers is a demanding and rewarding profession; we invite you to join us in strengthening the field and advocating for the value of voluntarism. Please browse our website for more information on the benefits of membership, educational opportunities, and WADV’s current advocacy and community awareness efforts.
